Pathfinder Camporee 2013

I had an amazing weekend at Camp Berkshire 2013 - Well, Pathfinder Camporee. Despite of the cold weather, off and on rain, and arguments, overall I had a great time. I met some cool people, hung out with those I never thought I would, and was pretty much set for life on true wilderness camping. After a jam packed weekend, I'm finally home.

Now off to the real world, with school work and metro cards.

The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".It is a concept derived from the Buddhist teaching of the three marks of existence (三法印 sanbōin?), specifically impermanence (無常 mujō?), the other two being suffering (苦 ku?) and emptiness or absence of self-nature (空 kū?).

But she really did because now you're looking in the mirror on your wedding day but you're only half smiling because you wonder if you might not have had to go through with this if it wasn't for the kicking in your stomach. Before you know it, you're looking in the mirror again but you're wrinkled and tired-looking and the world is no longer at your feet yet you have nothing to show for yourself besides a daughter and next time you look you're looking in the mirror and you don't even know what you look like, you can't even recognize yourself so you look away.Yet you still know you can't avoid mirrors in a society as vain as ours."
